Advanced Workshop Summary: After registration where participants are issued with class notes, there is a PowerPoint theory session (coffee break in between). After Lunch Andrew takes the class around as a group and discusses each participant's horse, often demonstrating a suitable trim on one foot. Participants next trim their horses under supervision. While the trimming is taking place each participant has the opportunity to have Nicky video their horse using a specialist slow motion camera. After trimming there is a class discussion on hoof boots and a fitting demonstration. The day is finished with a video played back in slow motion of participant's horses, shown on the big screen. |
