If you are distant to us but are needing some advice regarding your horses' feet, we can provide an online technical consultation.

We love to help, and up until now we have provided our time free of charge. However, due to the overwhelming number of requests to provide detailed consultation, we really need to put a value on our time so that we can allocate enough time to reply adequately to each request.

We will be offering two levels of consultation:

PHONE CONSULTATION: $40.00

Payment options include pay by credit card over the phone, direct deposit, (account details at the bottom of this page) or via Paypal by clicking button below.

FULL CONSULTATION: Phone consultation with written report - $80.00

For an effective response, please supply a photo of the whole horse, both front view and side view, as well as photos of all the feet in question (best done in the following views). You can also zoom in onto any particular distortions or problems.

The limitation we face with an online consult is that we don't get to see the horse moving nor palpate its feet. However, we can effectively advise on hoof deformity (which always precedes chronic lameness) and how you may be able to manage your horse for the best possible hoof health. We may need to ask for further information.

Please note that our consulting service is in no way designed to be a susbstitue for veterinary advice where that is needed in cases of chronic lameness. Rather, it aims to complement ongoing management after such diagnosis.
